Assembly Candidate, Bayo Aderounmu Condoles With Families Of Maya/Lanlate Junction Accident Victims

The candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ibarapa East State Constituency,  Bayo Aderounmu, on Saturday stated that he was devastated over the incident that happened at Maya/Lanlate Junction which led to death of over ten Passengers.

Aderounmu stated this through his media aide, as he condoled with the bereaved families, friends and loved ones of those who were burnt to death on Friday in an accident involving two vehicles.

Two vehicles had on Friday collided and caught fire immediately while said to have been traveling in different directions at Lanlate, Maya Junction in Ibarapa East Local Government area of Oyo State.

Speaking on the incident, Aderounmu said, “I commiserate with the bereaved families, friends and loved ones of those involved in the tragic vehicles collision and unfortunate death of our people, whose lives were cut short yesterday.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of all those who sadly lost their lives and with those who survived but forced to look like never before in the aftermath of this terrible incident. 

“As those who survived the stampede begin the process of healing and recovery, may God Almighty guide, guard and keep them and fill them with peace.

“May the Lord guide and protect us from the senseless disaster so as not  to reoccur in our Constituency or anywhere in the country.”
