Assembly Candidate, Aderounmu Condoles With PDP Over Death Of Senatorial Chairman, Ojelabi

House of Assembly Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ibarapa East State Constituency, Bayo Aderounmu, has condoled with the Peoples Democratic Party in the local government, over the death of the PDP Oyo South Senatorial Chairman, Gbade Ojelabi who died on Monday, December 5.

In a condolence message from his campaign media office, Aderounmu described Ojelabi as a an elder statesman in the political circuit of Ibarapa and Oyo State at large.

Aderounmu said his death was a great loss to the people of Ibarapa East and to Oyo State in general.

“Our leader, father we pray your soul rest in perfect peace. On behalf of my family, political associates and the All Progressive Congress of Ibarapa East, I extend our deep sense of commiseration with the family of the deceased and the PDP over the death of our elder statesman. Death is a painful experience, but one cannot question the will of the Almighty,” Aderounmu said.

He extended his condolence to the people of Ibarapa East who felt the immediate impact of Hon Gbade Ojelabi mentorship and tutelage, prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss, while praying God to grant the deceased eternal rest in heaven.

Until his death, Hon. Gbade Ojelabi was the PDP Oyo South Senatorial District Chairman and former Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Rt. Hon Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Adebo Ogundoyin.
