A female aspirant for the Qua’pan South State Constituency ahead of the 2023 general elections under the All Progressive Congress (APC), Magdalene Dakogol, has been kidnapped.
Dakogol who is the only female aspirant in the party was said to have been kidnapped on Thursday on her way to meet with delegates of the party ahead of the primaries scheduled to hold in Kwalla town of Qua’an Pan LGA of Plateau State.
The Plateau state Police Command while confirming the incident through it’s spokesperson ASP Gabriel Ubah said that the commissioner of Police in charge of Plateau had sent tactical team to rescue the victim.
A source from the area also told journalists that “The Honourable was to see a delegate on Wednesday but they gave her Thursday for them to meet which eventually led to her kidnap.”
