APC National Secretary, Akpanudoedehe Allegedly Resigns

The National Secretary of the Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) of the All Progressives Congress, John James Akpanudoedehe was earlier today alleged to have resigned his position in the party.

Reports says Akpanudoedehe was seen moving some of his personal effects from his office but no letter was seen to confirm his rumoured resignation.

Akpanudoedehe had earlier attended a meeting of the CECPC presided over by the acting National Chairman and Niger state Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello.

However, in a chat with another newspaper, Akpanudoedehe described the report as untrue as he just finished addressing a press conference.

“I have not resigned. Ignore the rumours. In fact, I just finished addressing a press conference. They said I moved out all my belongings. Which belongings do I have to move out. Is the party secretariat my house?” he asked.
