The leadership of the indigenous students body in Ibarapa, Federation of Ibarapa Students Association (FIBSA) has issued a protest notification against injustice to the management of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic Eruwa, after exposing the leaked audio that initiated the crisis in the transition process.
In a press statement signed by the FIBSA President, Comrade Gabriel Timileyin. The President threatened to mobilize thousands of Ibarapa students to fight against the imbalance and injustice. The statement reads in part;
CALL FOR PEACEFUL PROTEST AGAINST IMBALANCE AND INJUSTICE
The attention of the Apex Union body in IBARAPA, FEDERATION OF IBARAPA STUDENTS NATIONAL ASSOCIATION have been drawn to a voice note going round and to our greatest surprise no action have been taken on it
If the management choose to sit on the fence and pretend as if all is well, then the concerned Federation of Ibarapa Students Union hereby rise to demand for justice from the school management to take up the charges against one Abdulkareem AbdulKadir, a Presidential Candidate of the upcoming SUG Election. We are fully aware of how handicap the SUIEC are presently because of the interference of the Outgoing SUG President and Senate President. How can an Aspirant call a member of Students Union Independent Electoral Commission promising to give him the Electoral Chairman, that he has spoken with the Senate President of the outgoing SUG. He further said in the voice note that they should work hand in hand. Eventually the member of SUIEC couldn’t honour the request to meet physically with the Aspirant and others, this prompted the Speaker to pick another person from his class to carry out his evil assignments, and gave the earlier promised SUIEC member Secretary instead of Chairman.
The attached voice records is enough to disqualify him without delay. In our findings, we confirmed nothing like e-voting in the Student Union Constitution. So how do they come about that? It’s even funny that The Present SUG leadership in conjunction with the SUIEC Chairman who is also the coursemate of the Senate President went ahead to pay from their personal purse to employ the services of programmer without the consent of other Electoral member. An attached evidence of majority members voicing out against their action is also attached below. There are many questions deserving answers. How will a student get a programmer from the back door and still promise free and fair Election? Who is fooling who? WE SAY NO TO E- VOTING till the adoption of its rule will be clearly stated in AOPE SUG constitution
Haven failed to do justice to this, We frankly say NO TO ELECTION. Then we march out in hundreds and thousands to show our grievances any moment soon. ALUTA CONTINUA VICTORIA ASCERTA!

Also, the simple majority of the electoral committee consisting of five members out of eight has issued a notification letter on the termination of appointment of the electoral Chairman.
In a letter, jointly signed by five members of the Students Union Independent Electoral Committee said the appointment of the electoral Chairman was not done in accordance with the provision of the union constitution.

Recall that a candidate for the position of the Institution’s Students Union President, Ogunshola Femi, was disqualified by the Students Representative Council. The disqualification which had since ignite different reactions from the students, stakeholders, electoral committee and the outgoing executives.
