Adesokan Congratulate Adepoju On Appointment As NIPOST Boss
A stalwart in the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ibarapa East State Constituency, Tpl. (Dr) Adesokan Samuel has congratulated the newly-appointed Post Master General of NIPOST, Hon Sunday Adepoju.
The Lanlate born town planner made the congratulatory statement on Wednesday in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state.
Adesokan praised Adepoju who was a former lawmaker for Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency for enjoying the trust and confidence of President Muhammadu Buhari and Professor Isa Pantami who deemed it fit to make him the Post Master General of Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST).
He said that the newly appointed NIPOST Boss had always demonstrated capacity and competence in handling any responsibility entrusted to him.
“This unique assignment glaringly shows the confidence that President Muhammadu Buhari, and the people of this country have in your ability and capacity to perform, as exemplified by your excellent performance during your tenure as the honourable member that represented Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency.”
The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari had on Wednesday approved the appointment of the new Postmaster General/Chief Executive Officer for the Nigerian Postal Service, Adepoju Sunday.
In a statement on Wednesday by the spokesperson to the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Uwa Suleiman.
The appointment was based on the recommendation of the minister, Prof Isa Pantami.
The statement read in part, “The new Postmaster General of NIPOST, Hon. Adepoju Adeyemi Sunday, is appointed for an initial term of five years.”
Hon. Sunday Adepoju is an accountant and a former member of the Federal House of Representatives from 2011 – 2015 and 2015 – 2019, representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency.
