The house of assembly candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ibarapa East State Constituency, Hon Bayo Aderounmu, has congratulated the newly-appointed Post Master General of NIPOST, Hon Sunday Adepoju.
Aderounmu urged the Eruwa born former honourable and Post Master General to continue to remain a determined progressive and to always serve diligently with a committed mind to deliver positive result.
The assembly candidate in a statement signed by his Media aide, the people of Ibarapa East are so lucky that have resourceful politicians with capacity, people who are successful in their private engagements before joining politics, one of which is Hon Sunday Adepoju.
“Let me represent the progressive family, home and abroad, to congratulate our leader, Hon Sunday Adepoju Omoyin on his appointment as the Post Master General of NIPOST.
No doubt he’s a good ambassador of Eruwa, Ibarapa East and Oyo State, we are confident that the pacesetting spirit will reflect in the department he’s about to handle.

President Muhammadu Buhari had on Wednesday approved the appointment of the new Postmaster General/Chief Executive Officer for the Nigerian Postal Service, Adepoju Sunday.
According to a statement on Wednesday by the spokesperson to the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Uwa Suleiman.
The appointment was based on the recommendation of the minister, Prof Isa Pantami.
The statement read in part, “The new Postmaster General of NIPOST, Hon. Adepoju Adeyemi Sunday, is appointed for an initial term of five years.”
Adepoju is a professional accountant and a former member of the Federal House of Representatives from 2011 – 2015 and 2015 – 2019, representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency.
Recall that the Federal Government, through the Communications Minister had approved the appointment of Bulus Yakubu as acting Postmaster General of the Federation/CEO, NIPOST earlier.
