166 Stranded Nigerians From Libya Arrives Lagos Airport

Another batch of 166 stranded Nigerian Returnees from Libya arrived the cargo shed of the Murtala Muhammad International Airport Lagos on Wednesday.

The Returnees who were received by the Director General of NEMA, Alhaji Mustapha Habob Ahmed represented by the Lagos Territorial Office Coordinator, Ibrahim Farinloye, arrived aboard a Chartered flight at about
1530 hours

Breakdown of the Returnees after profiling them shows that there are 66 adults females, 4 female children and 4 female infants.
Also 77 adult males, 8 male children and 7 infants male

The Returnees who voluntarily returned back to the country were assisted back by the International Organisation for Migration IOM, and they were also received on arrival by Immigration NAPTIP, Refugee Commission, Nigerian Port Health, DSS, Police and FAAN at the Airport.
