100 Beneficiaries Awarded Bursary As Eruwa Students’ Union Holds Lecture In Honour Of Remi Oseni
The Federation of Eruwa Students Union (FESU), on Friday held a public lecture in honour of Engr. Remi Oseni, the Chief Executive Officer of Step Development Limited and house of representatives candidate of the All Progressive Congress in Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency.
Hundred students equally benefited from the bursary award scheme sponsored by Engr Remi Oseni.
All the beneficiaries got the sum of ten thousand naira each as students from Eruwa and Lanlate made the list.
The lecture had in attendance Professor Boye Omole, an Animal Scientist at the Institute of Agricultural Research and Training (IAR&T), Ibadan who delivered the keynote address titled, ‘The Roles of Nigeria Youths and Students In Sustaining Her Nascent Democracy’.
According to Comrade David Oladiran, the host President, said was delighted to organised a public lecture program and also to tagged the program with an erudite personality and a political enigma Engr Remi Oseni, he sincerely appreciate the philanthropic gesture of Engr. Remi Oseni and also for seeing to development of Students and Youths.
The Chief Host, Engr. Remi Oseni while presenting his speech said that he totally agreed with the focus on the youths and their roles in the sustenance of democratic rules in Nigeria.
Oseni appreciated the organizer of the event, Federation of Eruwa Students Union ably led by the visionary, promising and pragmatic leader in person of Comrade David Oladiran and his team.
“I want to thank you for institutionalizing this annual lecture and symposium in my honour and want to state that the 2022 lecture and theme is appropriate, timely and relevant not only to my political ambition but to our teeming youths and the nation in particular as we prepare towards transition of the new government in the 2023 general elections”.
Dignitaries present at the occasion includes Engr. Aderemi Abass Oseni, Prince Oloyede Fashina as the Chairman of the day, Chief Senator Peter Adeyemo, the father of the day, Chief (Mrs) Elizabeth Daramola, mother of the day, Community leaders, Dr. Ibrahim Okunlola (EYM Chairman), Comrade Gabriel Timileyin Micheal, the National President of the Federation of Ibarapa Students Association (FIBSA) and his team, FESU, AOPE Chapter.
